MEMBERSHIP TYPES
Full Membership
CMPA Full Membership is only open to meetings and event professionals based in Croatia. Membership is on an individual, not company, basis. CMPA welcomes applications from individuals within:
- meeting and event organising agencies
- hotels and other companies/institutions offering services to meeting and event industry
- companies offering logistical and technical services to meeting and event industry
- companies offering catering services
- companies offering transportation services
- tourist organizations and associations
- media covering business tourism sector
- other suppliers to meeting and event industry
Eligibility to Full Membership: A minimum of 5 years' experience in the organisation of all services required in the preparation and running of meetings and events.
Associate Membership
CMPA Associate Membership is open to individuals and companies/institutions/associations from private and public sector based in Croatia, involved in any way into the meeting and event industry in Croatia.
MEMBERSIP BENEFITS
Full Membership
- Voting rights within CMPA
- Attendance at all CMPA meetings, professional development seminars, Annual Conference and Fam Trips
- Access to CMPA confidential members-only mailing list and website sections
- Inclusion on the list of full CMPA members given to potential new clients and receipt of other business leads and enquiries
- Authorisation to use the designation „CMPA Quality Full Member Sign“ when used in conjunction with the member's name on business cards and personal correspondence only, not on corporate communications of any kind
- Representation in all industry bodies involved in business tourism for the purpose of influencing change through the legislative process
- Access to CMPA's strategic alliances with other professional associations in Croatia and worldwide
- Access to specialist services through our partnerships
Associate Membership
- Attendance at some CMPA meetings, certain professional development seminars and Annual Conference
- Access to Full CMPA members for advice and consultation
- Authorisation to use the designation „CMPA Quality Associate Member Sign“ when used in conjunction with the member's name or business
- Representation in all industry bodies involved in business tourism for the purpose of influencing change through the legislative process
- Access to specialist services through our partnerships
- Progression to Full Membership once satisfying the relevant criteria
Application Process
Full and Associate applicants should complete the membership application form.
On the membership application form, applicants should nominate two people who are familiar with their conference organising activities (one a client/committee chair and one a venue). Referees should be able to provide a fair assessment of the applicant's capabilities. Upon submission, the application will be reviewed by the Executive Committee and referees will be contacted. Applicants will normally be notified of the outcome of their application within 4 weeks of receipt. Subscriptions are invoiced annually by the CMPA Executive Office.
